EAGLE SCOUT OF HONOR

On November 11, 2017, Joseph Philip Post was honored as an Eagle Scout at the Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony at the Middlehope Fire House. This is Scouting’s highest achievement and is awarded to a select few.
Town of Newburgh Supervisor Gil Piaquadio made a presentation to Mr. Post on behalf of County Executive Steve Neuhaus and another on behalf of the Town of Newburgh. Supervisor Piaquadio also acknowledged Mr. Post’s achievements during the presentation, and thanked Mr. Post’s parents for their support.
Sergeant Sluszka made a presentation to Mr. Post on behalf of the Town of Newburgh Police Department.
A large crowd was present, many congratulated Mr. Post on his accomplishments, and many wished him good luck for the future.
