The Town of Newburgh has completed a major inventory project. This project consisted of attaching labels in the form of bar codes to literally thousands of items owned by the Town and, to make the task more difficult, many departments are located in several off site locations. All information needed to be recorded and entered into a computer database.
This project was spearheaded by Councilman Piaquadio with full support from the board. The system software is Intellitract and the vendor was Bar Code Systems of Wappingers Falls. This control system makes the Town more efficient in controlling and locating assets.
The Town hired outside help to accomplish this task Pictured below are the temporary workers who assisted the Town in this project.
