Chapter 144-2 Records Access Officer
The Town Board of the Town of Newburgh is responsible for ensuring compliance with the regulations herein and designates the Town Clerk, who shall be responsible for ensuring appropriate agency response to public requests for access to records. The designation of a records access officer shall not be construed to prohibit officials who have in the past been authorized to make records or information available to the public from continuing to do so.

An initial acknowledgement of your request will be made within five business days.
A final response to your request will be within twenty one business days if information is found.
If you are not satisfied with these responses, there is an appeal process which can be followed by contacting the Town Clerk's office.
