NOTICE OF SECOND PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Newburgh has before it a proposed Amendment to the Town of Newburgh Comprehensive Plan Update. The Amendment contains proposed modifications to the Town’s Zoning Map to rezone an area of land on Putnam Street and Boulder Road from R-3 (Residential) to the adjacent IB (Interchange Business) Zoning District. The subject area proposed to be rezoned includes the properties designated on the tax map for the Town of Newburgh as Section 99 Block 4 Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 and Section 99 Block 1 Lot 17.22, as well as portions of Putnam Street and Boulder Road. An owner of certain of the properties in the subject area has requested this Zoning Map change. A copy of the draft Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Update is available for review at the Town Clerk’s office, Town Hall, 1496 Route 300, Newburgh, New York and on the Town’s website: townofnewburgh.org.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Newburgh will hold a second public hearing on June 17, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Town Hall, 1496 Route 300, Newburgh, New York to consider the draft Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan and hear all persons interested in the same. This public hearing will be held concurrently with the continued public hearing on the local law that would implement the subject change to the Zoning Map.
