Anthony LoBiondo was appointed to the Town Board on July 13, 2020.  He is an attorney, business owner, and lifelong resident of the Town of Newburgh.

Anthony is married to Juliana LoBiondo for 22 years, who is also his law partner. They have two sons. Christian LoBiondo is a Cadet Second Class at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Their son, Michael LoBiondo, is a junior in high school.

Anthony received his B.A. in Law and Society from Binghamton University in 1988, and was recognized for Outstanding Academic Achievement. In 1991, he earned his Law Degree from Albany Law School. While serving as an Article Editor for the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology, his article on Patient Autonomy and Biomedical Research was also published.

From 1991 to 1997, Anthony served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Office of the Orange County District Attorney. In that capacity, he tried numerous criminal cases, including major felonies, working in the Appeals Unit, Violent Felony Unit, and the Narcotics Unit and White Collar Crime Unit. At the time of his departure, Anthony was an Office Supervisor in the District Attorney’s City of Newburgh Office.

Since 1997, Anthony has been in private practice, and has built his reputation as an effective advocate and litigation attorney who is highly dedicated to his clients.

Anthony is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, as well as the United States District Court. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, and is a past president of the Middletown Bar Association.

In addition to his numerous legal activities, Anthony is the Vice President and a founding member of America Rows and Swims Newburgh, a not for profit organization which provides free learn to swim classes, after school rowing programs and summer camp opportunities for children in Newburgh. He is also a founder of the LoBiondo Family Foundation, which provides an annual scholarship to a graduating senior at Newburgh Free Academy.  He is an active volunteer with St. Mary's Outreach, which provides more than two tons of free food each month to community members.  He is a member of the United States Air Force Academy Parents Club; the Don Bosco Prep Father's Club; and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Children's Rights Society and the Newburgh Rowing Club.
